Support Groups
The Rape Crisis Center offers eight support groups. All are eight-week counseling groups, and every group begins the same way: a screening conversation with the facilitator before joining, to confirm fit.
Two of the groups — Healthy Relationships and Secondary Survivors — also welcome the people who support a survivor: non-offending partners, family and friends.
How to Join a Group
Every group starts with a brief screening conversation with the facilitator, to confirm the group is a good fit for you. To ask about any group, contact:

Monica will share current group dates and times with you when you reach out. To protect the privacy and safety of group members, meeting schedules and locations are not posted online.

The Groups
All eight groups are facilitated by Monica Agama, LPC.
Women’s Support Group
Who it’s for: Adult women survivors of sexual violence.
A processing-oriented group.
Men’s Support Group
Who it’s for: Adult men survivors of sexual violence.
Emphasis on skills and resilience. No pressure to share.
The Art of Healing
Who it’s for: Adult survivors, men and women.
A creative, art-based group. No artistic experience needed.
Trauma Recovery Skills
Who it’s for: Adult survivors, men and women.
A skills-first group — it does not involve processing past experiences.
Beyond Survival
Who it’s for: Adult survivors, men and women.
Based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Healthy Relationships
For survivors & supporters — together
Who it’s for: Survivors and non-offending partners, family and friends.
Survivors and supporters attend together. A survivor may attend with one or more support people, arranged during registration.
Secondary Survivors
For partners, family & friends
Who it’s for: Partners, family and friends supporting a survivor.
This group is for supporters only, not survivors.
Rhythm & Recovery
Who it’s for: Adult survivors, men and women.
A music-based group.
