Live Webinar: Effects of Trauma on the Brain and Body

This session provides an overview of the immediate and chronic physical and mental health concerns associated with sexual violence. By understanding the impact of sexual assault, participants will learn to recognize trauma responses and work more effectively with survivors in our community. Includes discussion of how underlying trauma may increase risks for depression and anxiety, substance use, self-harm and suicidal ideation, and other challenges that affect survivors' safety and wellbeing.
