Presentation: Intimate Partner Violence: Beyond Physical Violence

Did you know that a majority of intimate partner violence relationships include financial abuse? One study found that financial abuse occurs in 99% of intimate partner violence but a majority of the public is unaware that financial abuse as a form of intimate partner violence. This training will talk more about financial abuse as well as emotional abuse and stalking.

Presenter: Jessica Rubinsky, MSW was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. During college, Jessica discovered their passion for helping survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence and began working on a sexual violence crisis hotline. To continue with this passion, Jessica got their Masters of Social Work with a focus in Violence and Injury Prevention from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis.
