Presenter

Lucy K. Ziegler, MA, LPC, LLC has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1996. Specializing in trauma, she and her clients work together to address concerns and the effects of  those concerns and develop coping skills for long-term adaptation and recovery. She trained with the Life After Loss Program through the American Cancer Society and volunteers with the local chapter of Parents of Murdered Children. She frequently presents continuing education and training workshops for mental health professionals on topics such as Mindfulness Stress Reduction, Trauma Counseling, and “The Beauty of Adulthood.” Lucy is currently pursuing certification in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from UMass Medical School Center for Mindfulness, Health Care, and Society. Collaboration with Stress Solutions Institute has evolved into the development of Stress Management Workshops to counter the effects of Chronic Stress.
