Facilitators will discuss the impact of trauma and substance use on individuals and how to create recovery-safe clinical settings
Objectives:
- Learn the impact of addiction on persons who have experiences trauma in their lifetime.
- Understand drug culture and how trauma perpetuates the cycle of substance use.
- Gain information on trauma informed services and trauma theories for working with this population.
